How we began

Medcity International Academy, Kanjikuzhy (MIAK) was launched on 2019, incorporating the latest and best in digital educational technology infrastructure, which has been upgraded over the years. Kanjikuzhy is around 2 km from Kottayam railway station and is conveniently accessible by bus from the private bus stand as also the KSRTC bus depot. Ever since its launch, MIAK held the benchmark in the field of training in OET/IELTS/PET. It went on to become “better than the best” nation-wide in this area of educating candidates, like doctors and nurses and ensuring a very bright and secure future in countries from USA and Canada to UK/Europe and Australia/New Zealand.

These milestones were achieved with 22 well equipped classrooms occupying 3 floors in the heart of Kanjikuzhi which included exclusive listening labs to facilitate state-of-art training. A very experienced and competent team of dedicated instructors’ went on to ensure MIAK became the No. 1 OET/IELTS/PET training institute in Kerala. To widen its reach and facilitate the best training for candidates irrespective of location, in due course it was inevitable that Medcity International Academy began offering online training in the OET/IELTS/PTE, German language, ACLS and BLS training.

Efficient and effective training, in any discipline, becomes useless without appropriate study and practice material. From its inception, Medcity International realized this and made it one of their major objectives to provide the best training material. Medcity was able to surmount this problem by providing in-house training material. Who better will understand their requirements than the very instructors’? Therefore the candidates have access to a wide, constructive and comprehensive array of the best and appropriate study and practice material.

Yet another important facet in OET/IELTS/PET programs, ignored by many such institutes is a lack of individual attention and conduction of accurate real-time orientated sample or mock tests. Whether it is online or classroom orientated sessions, individual attention is a golden rule at Medcity. Individual extra sessions based on practicality, are held for those candidates who are found to be in such needs. Spot corrections and feedback provided help the students analyze their shortcomings and take necessary action on their pathway to success.

Another area of concern for prospective candidates is the atmosphere encompassing the place of study. All the classrooms and labs are equipped with A/C’s to ensure comfortable minds, with what is today a necessity. Yet another area we would like to stress on is that our 22 classrooms could comfortably accommodate 300-350 students. So space is not a constraint.

In line with our phenomenal growth we found students from all over India enrolling with our Kanjikuzhi branch. A lack of safe hostel facilities was a major issue. Yet again a problem was solved. We opened separate hostels for males and females near our branch to ensure students are focused and have only achievement in their minds. This was done solely with service and no commercial interest.

As part of our involvement in education, we have recently begun to match the requirements/interests of students with available courses of study, worldwide. In this regard, we explore the availability of courses of intent, and liaise and do the necessary fieldwork to ensure admissions. Our latest success was the admission of a student on a football scholarship abroad!
