PTE Core

The newest test introduced by Pearson is PTE Core, which is a general English test approved by IRCC for migration, work and citizenship to Canada. This fully computerised test should be taken in a test center, just like all other tests given by Pearson. The PTE Core, a computer-based general English test, is 2 hours long and the entire test can be completed in a single sitting. The test evaluates a candidate's ; language proficiency in all four modules: Speaking & Writing, Listening and Reading. Format of PTE Core: The test is taken in 3 parts. Part 1 includes the Speaking & Writing tasks, while Part 2 tests you on your Reading skills. Part 3 includes tasks to evaluate your Listening ability. The first part takes approximately 50 minutes to be completed whereas both Part 2 and Part 3 take roughly 30 minutes each.

Medcity Students get the prestigious OET Golden Badge

The OET students at Medcity International Academy have come out in flying colours in the most recent exam held on April 15th. This was the very same exam which has caused deep worries for some students as their results have either been withheld or withdrawn. However, students at MEDCITY KOCHI have been credited with the coveted OET GOLD STANDARD or the Golden Badge for their stupendous performance in the test. OET Gold Badge is officially given by OET to candidates who score a B grade or higher in their very first attempt in a single sitting. FSJ: The new trend to Germany

Students after having completed their 12th standard, are rushing to Germany in a span of just a few months to kickstart their German career with FSJ. Admissions to the tuition-free FSJ can be taken for a candidate who has completed German A2 level examinations. "Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr, which in literal translation is Voluntary Social Year, is a program in Germany where young individuals aged 16 to 26 can volunteer for a year to help others and gain experience through involvement in various social and community establishments, such as hospitals, schools, or care centers. In return, these candidates are given a small monthly stipend of between 400 and 500 Euros to cover their expenses. International students applying for FSJ are eligible to convert to Ausbildung.

Medcity at OET official meeting held in Grand Hyatt, Kochi

Medcity took part in the OET Premium Preparation Providers Meet held recently at Grand Hyatt, Kochi. The CEO of OET, Sujata Stead, along with her team members from Australia, Adam Phillips, Shakina Mohol, Education Team, and the South-Asian Senior Business Development Manager, Aashish Bhushan led the meeting on 4th June 2022. The meet was held exclusively on invitation, and the most creamy players in OET training in India were invited for the event.
